Mike McKeaveney

Assistant Director

Mike became our Assistant Director of Education in September 2017 after a wide ranging career in school leadership across Academies, Voluntary Aided and community schools in London, including posts with Ark, the Harris Federation and the Baker Dearing Trust. He gained an undergraduate degree in Cell Biology from Glasgow University and this was followed by the National Qualification for Headteachers and the National Qualification for Schools Inspection.

He oversees Admissions, Governance and the Secondary strategy across the Diocese and brings direct experience of founding academies and free schools and in his previous work, the implementation of school transformation.

As a scientist he takes a particular interest in science education; a keen amateur violinist, he also takes an interest in the musical life of the Diocese.
