Developing Church of England Education

The Board provides a wide range of training for governors and staff of Church of England Schools. This includes:

  • an induction course for new governors
  • training on the Christian ethos of church schools
  • courses for aspiring headteachers and deputies and middle leaders
  • specialist training for RE co-ordinators

The Board also runs sessions for new headteachers through the Diocesan New Leadership Programme. We are also involved in providing training for clergy.
