
Leondre Douglas
Leondre Douglas is a senior education leader and diocesan adviser with extensive experience across Church of England schools. He currently serves the Diocese of Southwark as Secondary School Faith Adviser and Chaplaincy Development Officer, leading diocesan strategy for Religious Education, Collective Worship, SMSC, Christian ethos and FE/HE chaplaincy.
Alongside his diocesan role, Leondre has spent over a decade in secondary education, including senior leadership roles as a Deputy Headteacher in two Church of England schools, with responsibility for safeguarding, behaviour, pastoral care and student achievement. He is a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and has led whole-school approaches to inclusion, restorative practice and student wellbeing in highly diverse contexts.
Leondre is also actively involved in church life as one of the Pastor’s at Trinity Baptist Church, Croydon, where he supports discipleship, teaching and pastoral care for young adults. He is passionate about developing inclusive leadership, nurturing faith in young people, and supporting churches and schools to respond faithfully and confidently to the challenges facing education and society today.
