Julie Richards is the HR Manager and Adviser at the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education, having joined SDBE in 2020. She brings extensive experience in education HR, including leadership roles within a multi-academy trust, HR consultancy, and education support services.

Drawing on her experience across both the public and private sectors, Julie supports diocesan schools with HR advice, coaching, model policies, staff wellbeing, leadership development, and casework. She also oversees HR operations within SDBE and works closely with colleagues on areas including wellbeing, equality, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Julie also delivers training on HR, wellbeing, and leadership, and supports schools with complex organisational and people matters.
