Matthew Bulpitt is an Education Adviser at the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education and Deputy CEO of the Maritime Academy Trust. Since qualifying as a teacher in 1995, he has held a range of leadership roles across primary education, including headship and executive headship in Church of England schools within the Diocese.

Drawing on extensive experience in school improvement, executive leadership, and systems leadership, Matthew supports schools in strengthening leadership capacity, improving outcomes, and developing effective networks and partnerships. He is passionate about values-led leadership, curriculum development, and creating school communities in which children and families can flourish.

Alongside his diocesan work, Matthew leads headteachers and executive headteachers across the Maritime Academy Trust, championing collaboration, innovation, and excellence in education.
