Roz Cordner is Diocesan Director of Education at the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education. Before joining SDBE as a Primary Adviser in 2015, Roz was a headteacher in a diocesan primary school for over ten years and served as a Local Leader of Education in Merton and Lewisham.

Drawing on her experience as a school leader, adviser, and director, Roz supports schools, governors, and trusts across a wide range of educational and strategic matters. She has particular expertise in school improvement, leadership development, governance, and the promotion of Christian distinctiveness within schools.

Roz became Diocesan Director of Education in March 2021 and leads SDBE's work across the Diocese of Southwark, guided by the vision that all can belong, serve and thrive.
