Governance and Admissions

Strong governance is essential to the success of Church schools and trusts. We support governors, trustees and governance professionals to ensure that leadership, accountability and decision-making remain focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Our team provides advice, guidance and training across a wide range of governance matters, helping governing bodies and trust boards fulfil their statutory responsibilities while maintaining the distinctive Christian vision of Church schools.

Governor Development
We deliver a comprehensive programme of governance training throughout the year, supporting both new and experienced governors, trustees and governance professionals.
This includes the Bishop's Certificate in Church School Governance, a modular programme designed to develop knowledge, confidence and effectiveness in Church school governance.
