Salary Scale: Group 3 – Inner London (L11 – L 24(a) £62,066.00 to £81,461.00)
We are looking to appoint an innovative and collaborative Head Teacher to join the team of this lively Church of England primary school, which is at the heart of the community in Sydenham, London.

Application
Applications must be submitted using our Headteacher Recruitment Pack and Application Form which can be downloaded from the school’s website at www.st-bartholomews.lewisham.sch.uk. This includes a section on faith commitment and requires candidates to give the name of a referee to support their Church affiliation. You will also be required to complete a Safer Recruiting form, also available on the website.

Shortlisting and interviews
Shortlisting will take place on Monday 28th March 2022 after which all applicants will be contacted.
Interview dates to be confirmed. Information about the interview days will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
References will be taken up upon shortlisting. Candidates who are currently Deputy Head Teachers are expected to name their current Head Teacher as a reference, whereas current Head Teachers are requested to provide contact details for their Chair of Governors. Candidates must also provide the name of a referee who can support their Church affiliation.
Appointment
The successful candidate will be appointed to the role from 1st September 2022 (or by mutual agreement), subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS clearance.
