Assistant Director of Education

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with the ability to constructively challenge and sensitively support others.

Do you have the passion and commitment to work alongside our Director of Education as we strengthen and develop the work of our Board of Education in developing Church of England Education across our successful family of 104 schools?

This is a unique opportunity within a diverse, inclusive and stimulating context, to be part of change at a Diocesan level where 96% of our schools are assessed to be good or outstanding by Ofsted and 100% under SIAMS . The role combines the management of safeguarding, development activity and oversight of our governance services. Based near London Bridge, you will work with an experienced, high-performing multi-professional team supporting schools spanning 12 local authority areas across South London and Surrey, and chaplains in schools, further and higher education institutions across the diocese.
