NPQ

NPQs

The SDBE currently runs NPQ (National Professional Qualification) courses for cohorts 5 and 6 in partnership with The Church of England and the Catholic Education Service (CEFEL).

OFSTED OUTSTANDING

In May 2024, Ofsted inspected the CEFEL NPQs and were awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. The opening line of the report says, Participants benefit greatly from the exceptional training they receive from highly skilled and expert trainers, facilitators and coaches.”

We are running the programmes below in collaboration with CEFEL until July 2025.

The SDBE will not be running the NPQ programmes for cohorts 7+. Instead, you can apply for the next cohorts of NPQs with our London partners. Please apply via: NPQs - Foundation For Educational Leadership (cefel.org.uk). We would advise selecting ‘Region 5 – London’ on the application form so that you are linked to another local London provider.

For more information on all NPQs being offered, please visit: Overview of NPQS - Foundation For Educational Leadership (cefel.org.uk)
